It’s acceptable to go to the boat launch with a couple of beers and watch the occasional incompetent try to back a boat into the water. But, here at the state park, I think it’s considered to be bad form to watch folks back travel trailers into their spot poorly. That’s a shame. I try to watch from a distance. Sometimes it’s fascinating.

The boat launch is more fun though, since much more can happen

We are at Mother Neff State Park. Come visit, but I didn’t bring beer. The wife brought wine.

Never bothers me when someone watches. I can a camper or boat up a chickens a$$ and never touch a feather.

I have never seen a canned camper or boat. That might be different.

We were camping at Jellystone and a guy a few campsite over was leaving. heard a rubbing sound. He rubbed the back of his long bumper pull against a tree and was stuck. A couple of us unhooked his trailer and had to reposition his truck. He was happy to have someone watching him that day. Mother Neff is about 10 miles from me and we never stay there. Probably been 20 years since we camped there.

Business would improve if a top and 20 years were removed.

I laugh it up at non-backers every chance I get. Free entertainment! If you don't like it or get butt hurt then go get some training on how to back up a trailer.

I’m glad summer is done and most of the pleasure boaters have stored their rig for the winter. I enjoy watching a bad backer as much as anyone, just not when I’m trying to load my bass boat and head home. Rarely have that issue in January.
