I have never tried an IPA that I liked, ever. I like trying new beers, but damn.....I get that loogie in the back of my throat after trying one of those f'n hippie IPA's after the first 2 drinks, I will smile and set it down. Worse even, after having an IPA I start sneezing.......why? Always happens...Give me a case of Lone Star Light and some tacos & I'm good.

People that say they like IPA’s are only doing so to fit in. There’s absolutely nothing good about them. It’s like claiming tofu is good and being vegan is healthy.

Have drank beer all over the world. I like Shiner and Shiner Blonde in addition to other beers around the globe. Not everyone is going to like the same things. Used to love IPAs. Now I don’t like the flavors nor Weiss beers.

Probably something in the amber range is my favorite these days. But am probably drinking more wine than beer.

Fermented tofu as part of certain Asian dishes is really good and flavorful. But just don’t smell or taste it on its own. It’s like the fermented fish sauce in that sense. Really adds to the flavor but if you smell it on its own, it can bring back bad memories of bad decisions.

TOFU is disgusting, had it all over SE Asia too and it's still disgusting, IMO.

I contacted Shiner regarding the return of 99. I was told it would not happen.

I would like to see the return of their Wicked Ram IPA as well.

Shiner Octoberfest is my go to this time of year. They used to have Kolsh that was my favorite. I wish they would bring it back. I'm with you on Most shiner lacking depth when compared to other darker or Lauger beers. I'm out on the IPA's. I always try them when someone recommends them being the best. All tase like trash.

I buy it and cook with Shiner. Good beer Bread and in chili. I do mot drink anymore
