The next two weeks should tell us if Texas belongs in the top 5. Kinda like till the Dallas Cowboys beat San Fran, Philly, people wont . Both are VERY good.
Guess I look at my favorite teams differently.

Just got home from Waco. Baylor sucks. They said at the game it was the biggest attendance ever at McClane stadium. At least 15,000 Texas fans in the house to help them reach that mark. Baylor is a really bad team. Would have invited you to the tailgate gringo. Hope the Baylor fans were polite to yall. The radio said it was the 5th largest at Mclanes. The Baylor fans were fine. The students booed the Eyes of Texas and had their Horns down before the game got out of hand, but that’s to be expected. The stadium employees were exceptionally courteous and friendly.

I saw that 11 am kickoff time...again. For the life of me, I can't figure out why ABC would want to sacrifice ratings and piss off everyone attending the game with an early kickoff.

I saw that 11 am kickoff time...again. For the life of me, I can't figure out why ABC would want to sacrifice ratings and piss off everyone attending the game with an early kickoff. Been this time for the last few years so nothing new....

Breaking news ... Red River shootout kick 11:00 a.m........ Think its just a tradition. Been 11:00am since I can remember. second Saturday of The Fair might have something to do with it. Seeing all the kids who either stayed up all night, hungover, both, getting sunburned. All makes it TOU Weekend.

I also read where its at 11:00am because of the neighborhood which calls The Cotton Bowl home. The Big 12 announced the kickoff time for the conference's premier rivalry game on Monday. Since 2000, the classic showdown between the Sooners and Longhorns has kicked off at 11 a.m. 16 times. The last Red River Rivalry game that kicked off at a time other than 11 a.m. was in 2017, a 2:30 p.m. start in which Baker Mayfield threw a long touchdown pass to Mark Andrews to clinch the game for OU.
