I've been trying to get my bearings on hunting here in PA and came across this. How'd you like to wake up to this artwork?

Nope, Most skilled surgeon are not part of the bandage of even the sew up of the patient, they are in high demand and don't have time to play games like that.

Find a new Orthopedic Surgeon if he has time to play games like that.

I did have my skin marked be before my meniscus surgery. The Doctor came in confirmed which knee was being operated on marked it and wrote a couple of words near the site. They did the same thing when I had my foot operated on.

for every stereotype there's a prototype don't be the prototype

I think most surgeries now, the doctor addresses all in the operating room confirming who the patient is and what is being done. When all agree the "Candy Man" injects the Propofol.

I remember everyone who came in my pre-op room signed my knee.

Years ago I had my left knee scoped. The surgeon came in to talk with me before the surgery. He asked me what knee we were doing. I said left, he checked his chart and agreed. Then he took a permanent maker and wrote "NOT THIS ONE" on my right knee.

MY friend has lived with a benign brain tumor for years. When he had his original surgery to put in a shunt they shaved his head and left one sideburn.

I had both of mine done in 2017 and they didn't use staples at all. My scars are very thin as a result.

Had mine done almost 4 months ago. They used a combo of dissolving stitches and glue, you can barely see my scar now.
Took this pic a couple of minutes ago.

4 months into to it and I have numbness in certain areas pretty often, it gets sore but does not hurt when I am standing or walking for long periods of time.
Do not have the same range of flexibility that I had but close, if you turn your leg certain ways it will tweak you, not usually painful but a quick shock of discomfort.

I ride my stationary bike a couple of times a day at the house, have a gym membership that I go to about 3 times a week, two less than I should.
I do stretch exercise at least once a day and sometimes twice.

Bottom line it is much better now then having to deal with the pain and soreness before and knowing that it will continue to get better.

I think the numbness is permanent cuz they snipped some nerves.

That's what my DR said also. Almost 2 years now, still numb.

Same here after 5 years. Numbness on outside of knee joint about the size of a tennis ball.
