I believe the Rifleman used a 1892 Winchester 44-40 carbine with a 20" barrel . It was also just an anachronism. The show was set in 1881, 12 years before John Browning had designed the rifle.
Other than a slightly larger loop, the Henry looks nothing like the 1882.
