That’s funny. No matter how much of a window licker SA is. I'm telling yall people down in Alabama are soooo freaking nice, its another level of nice than what we have here. We met this older lady about 70 at the aiport in Birmingham that graduated from Bama. We talked for an hour of so before the flight, and even sat together. When we landed she gave us a hug, and right as we went our separate ways she hit us with a roll tide......I couldn't stop laughing Honestly I really really liked Alabama. It a beautiful place, and the people are just so nice.

After watching the game again last night, I don't think Texas dominated like people have said. Texas had somethings go their way that usually don't. Where I do give them credit is that the moment wasn't too big for them, and they played with confidence. Now time to get ready for Wyoming. Let's FN go!

Still a strict class (and race) oriented state. They're not all as nice as they seem. Bless your heart.

That’s just regular ole southern hospitality. Honestly I find Hispanic groups to be the same. Tight tight family and always good food to sit down with.

I would not be surprised to see Alabama lose at least two more before the season is over. NIL and transfers has allowed teams to beef up their rosters like never before. You continue to insinuate that little bitty Alabama has no NIL money and lost all their players to the portal. For the record, Alabama gained 5 transfers and lost 21. Texas gained 5 players and lost 20. Data isn't available to track to the dollar level, but by all accounts, Alabama football players are making as much money through NIL as almost any school in the country.

You know I grew up around it all, i lived in the hood, and I've lived in the country, so I'm comfortable around most people. So when we were in Bama I didn't feel out of place...... that was until the wife brought something up at lunch before heading to the airport..... I was like you know I could live down here....she's was like you know, I haven't seen any brown people all trip except for the guy at the McDonald's drive thru.... lmfao I was like holy chet you are right....even though I was a minority of minorities down there people had no problem starting conversations with us. Like I said I actually liked that place, and I didn't expect that....

Yep, it will never be the same. I think it benefits Yexas but I still dont like it. But hey that train has left the station.

I responded, "Her conference runs from Denver to Miami". Made thirty two of her 34 matches. Missed Denver and Nacogdochesity of Denver and Stephen F. Austin as they played single matches mid-week. Hit Florida, Tennessee, Louisiana, Misssipppi and Alabama. Going through that there bible belt was plain ol' awesomeness. There is a reson for the geographic reafernece in "Southerh Hospitality.

How bout them red raiders though...... No surprises here. Lip service don't pay, and likely even you aren't stupid enough to go for it on 4th and a long 2 on your own 35 yd line, late in the game.........

Agree on Southern hospitality. Played ball all across Louisiana, Mississippi, and some in Alabama. Great folks.

I think this was more a matter of a down Bama team than UT's dominance; time will tell. Looked a lot like that Bama team that got smoked by Trevor Knight and OU in that bowl game, 6-7 years back. UT will get the rest of season to state their case...

That stat seems about normal in most losses. I would be willing to believe the “average starting field position” is the only difference that makes this different. Seems kinda odd to add starting field position. Which was penalty related.
Take Tennessee loss, Bama had less yards, more penalties and more turnovers.

The difference to me was QB play. Plain and simple. Two ints that gave Texas great “starting field position”.
2 ints deep in your territory was a huge problem. Both ints were not caused by pressure. Just bad throws.

Texas thought the QB could hurt them on the ground, so they wanted to contain him, and force him to hurt them through the air. Did a QB transfer out? Why is he yalls starter? I know yalls guy went to the NFL.

Did a QB transfer out? Why is he yalls starter? I know yalls guy went to the NFL. After week 1 dominating performance against a cupcake in MTSU, all the national pundits and Bama fans were confident that Milroe was the guy to lead Alabama. Not one single ESPN guy or writer had ANYTHING bad to say about Milroe all week long leading up to the Texas game. Now it's a complete 180 with the consensus being "I knew Milroe couldn't get it done." At any rate, Bryce Young went to the NFL. And they have an ND transfer and another 5-star that Milroe beat out. It's not like they had no QB competition leading up to this season.

He’s the starter. There was months of competition. Brought in a ND qb who started a few games for them. Got a 5 star red shirt freshman. Got a true freshman that looks pretty good.
Saban has had average QBs. But, they didn’t turn it over. This dude is a turnover machine. Had 3 in his last start.
I wanted him out. The 1st INT. On the first drive showed me enough.
The TE was the hot route. 1st read. He forced it. Just tells me, he was going there no matter what. 81 was wide open. Right in front of him.

The game hasn't slowed down for him yet, or maybe it doesn't.... who knows? Saban was real honest in his post game interview when it came to QB....

Saban has said all spring. QB job is like any other spot. Not promised to anyone.
Jaylon Ford said Milroe was a 1 read QB postgame. I’m sure he was coached that all week. And it showed

Every small town we drove through was very clean and a church on almost every corner. Even the Tire shop didn't charge for flat repair and all wheel balance/rotation because they felt they took too long (they were short staffed).
