11,000 acres with 3 bed 3 bath house plus a 3 bed 2 bath mobile home. Power is provided via generator, I have a generator at the ranch that we currently all share.

Ranch is located 5 miles from the Colombia bridge on pavement, and then 7 miles down an easement behind a locked gate.

17 feed pens are in place with plans to add 2 additional this coming weekend. Each pen includes a stand & fill corn feeder, 2 cottonseed baskets, and a stand or tripod. Ranch is well watered via pilas and surface water.

This is a trophy lease and our goal is to grow big, mature, trophy caliber whitetail deer on a consistent basis. Our management philosophy is based around this goal. We all communicate as a group and share photos. We have a “Let em walk” board for deer that have been identified by the group as having potential to become a trophy quality deer. Culls are decided by the group and are based on counts, age, and potential. You will not pull the trigger every year on a trophy. You must be willing to let young big young deer walk. We have rules, but have a great time and comradery in camp. You will not find a better group of guys to get involved with.

We are looking for a long term lease member to join a great group of guys. There are a total of 7 spots on the lease. We are looking to fill 1 spot.

We have year around access to the ranch. Each member is required to attend 2 work weekends during the off-season for general lease work/improvements.

Family and friends are welcome and encouraged. Guests must be accompanied in the stand while they have a weapon.

We have free ranging nilgai throughout the ranch, and some monster bulls at that.

The lease includes 1 trophy, culls as decided by the group, and 1 nilgai bull.

The ranch owner handles the procurement of all of our gun permits and tags. You can cross as much meat as you want with your hunters agreement, and you can cross 1 set of horns per tag.

Total price will be about $6,500.00 for this season.

Serious inquiries only, please. Text or call me with any questions. 979-324-8123.

Which state is this in? I would assume NL or Tam? As far as family and guest, there is plenty of room or beds for them? Do you have a cowboy who feeds or is all the feed done by members? Thanks,

The ranch is in NL.

Each room has bunk beds. There has always been room for guests.

We have two cowboys that live on the ranch full time. They will top feeders off for us if we are not able to make it down, but we fill as well.

We made a quick trip down to the lease over the weekend.

The ranch looks great! We received 2.2 inches with the storm from last week. Brush is green and deer are in great shape.

We will be making another trip down towards the end of September. Anyone that is interested and would like to tour the ranch is welcome to tag along.

Sounds awesome for someone who doesn't live too far from Laredo.

Good explanation of what you have. I Ike your management rules/guidelines. If someone wants Mexico then it sounds pretty good.
Welcome to our forum. By the way, the site is real slow right now but they are working on it.

Thanks, freerange!

I have been perusing the forum for some time now. I figured when the time came this was a good place to search for a new lease member.

I will also add that the ranch is low fence with big big neighbors. We know the hunters on the neighboring property and communicate on deer close the fence lines to manage together. They are from Texas as well.

The ranch is in good red dirt country.

The ranch owner is an Aggie. He lives in Nuevo Laredo. Super great guy and easy to deal with.

If I can figure out photos I will post a few pics from around the ranch.

Love to see pics. This is definitely a great place to find prospective lease members. If you have been lurking and reading then hopefully you know which guys you may want to consider and which ones to stay clear of.
If you start posting some, it will help guys figure out what you are about and if they may be a good fit with you. You likely know that a good fit as a lease member goes both ways. Everybodies gotta be likeminded.

great looking place. Up until last year, we had a lease West of Nuevo Laredo - off the pipeline section that is in Tamaulipas. Drought absolutely hammered that ranch - hardly rained for 5 years, and deer numbers & quality got to where our group just fell apart. This is my first year in 10 to not have a lease down there.
When my kids are a year or two older, and able to get more into hunting - I'm heading back south. Nothing like it.

Sounds like you guys are doing it right down there!

The lease is filled for the 24-25 season. I will update if we have any new openings. Thank you to all who reached out and I apologize for not updating this post earlier.

I'm very intrigued by Old MExico and would love a chance to get on a place like this. Those arrowheads did it for me. Let me know if you have openings in the future.
