Does anyone have any knowledge on how to properly tan a snake skin or know of anyone I could send a snake skin to get professionally tanned?

I used 50/50 glycerin and 99% alcohol.

Scrape the fat off the inside of the skin before you apply anything.

^^^^ probably the best advice from a taxi
Glycerin will not preserve it for years, we have done some that way.
Antifreeze can stain them also, at least ones we have done.
Snake tan actually tans the hide.
