Are any of y'all in Golf Leagues?

Not a real one but I play a cash scramble every Thursday night. Have a buddy that messed around with a league in Denton County. Supposed to be playing a member-guest handicapped tournament at Denton Country Club on July 28th.

I played with one as a guest today..... I did okay striking the ball, but putting became an issue..... I had 4 three putts within a 6 hole stretch. I ended up with a 92 breaking my 80s streak. The greens were challenging, and when they dried out it only made things tougher. 38 putts!

Solo Saturday for a 90. Playing in a group today. Weather should be better.

If you're in the DFW are and on a course you're getting dumped on. Cart path only sux!

Guess I am just outside because we got rain again today but no CPO here.

There will be some excellent high school golf at Frisco PGA course - National High School Tournament with teams from all around the country.

Gas Guzzler, do you use the driving range in Pilot Point? If not you should go sometime. It's really nice.

Ese, busted multiple 300+ yards in last 9 hole scramble I played, last Wed. Topped out at 375 slightly downhill, slightly downwind. Driver, gap wedge to par 5,.

I'm not there brother. This is about the best I can do.

Lower that 20 degree launch to about 15 and you'll be carrying 310+ and chasing out another 30+++

Therein lies my problem. I'm a high ball hitter and can't get away from it, even if I try........

Lay off the video golf game and grab your putter. Go practice that for an hour a day and you'll shave strokes. It will make up for your lack of athletic ability on the t-box.

Go get fitted for the right driver and shaft.

You probably should read the entire thread. He built and installed a golf simulator in his house. Hitting a ball 300+ yards whether on the range or on a simulator is not easy for your average golfer.

That's great, and I wasn't talking to you. I had both knees replaced 5 years ago, and haven't played 5 rounds of golf in 8 years. I could take your driver to the range and hit it 300+.

Little draw when I'm hittin' it good. I can put a war hook on it too though but never know when. Compared to hitting a 95mph fastball, hitting the little white ball solidly while sitting on a tee is not real hard.

Lol, let me guess fairways, greens, and one putts....... this guy..... nevermind you have to control the distance, height shape, and most important the placement.

Your words, not mine, and you're wrong yet again I'm afraid. I played a whole lot of golf, had some excellent instruction after my baseball playing days were over. I carried a 4 handicap then. Nowadays I've got no interest in wasting 8 hours playing golf. I'd rather be camping with the family, hunting, shooting, or something similar.
