That was intense. The local news just showed the beginning where he was interacting with some kiddos. Damn fine officer right there. Allen should be proud to have him.

About 10 years ago on here, there were a bunch of folks saying police officers don’t need military weapons like AR-15’s.

About 10 years ago on here, there were a bunch of folks saying police officers don’t need military weapons like AR-15’s. 1. An Ar-15 is not a military weapon. 2. There may be a bunch of people out there saying Police don't need military weapons, but I don't recall many on here saying that.

Who shot the shooter, the cop with the body cam or the other cop? Regardless, good job, the cop with body cam did not mess around, that was a long hike to get to the shooter. If the other cop shot him, would like to see that body cam.

They didn’t want police to do dynamic warrants, use military surplus APC’s, use anything more than a pistol… the list goes on.

He did the right thing, saved no own knows How Many additional lives. Prayers for Him and his family. Know Several officers From local PD, Up To Texas Rangers. They are all Heroes in my eyes!!!!!! They knew the challenge, takes nerves of Steel in my book,Lord look over them!!!!!! PD Officers, they put there life on the line Every time they Walk out the door, in uniform or not, they are armed and protecting the rest of us. Thank you to all the PD officers, perimedics, fire fighters, dispatchers, and other first responders!!!!!
