Yes! Golf three out of the next four days for me.

I play better in scrambles than head to head. Wish me luck. Kinda rainy.

Pass the gravy.

That was good golf more me S.A. I'm an 8 handicap but have played well lately and shot 74-78 the last 5 rounds, had a couple of blow up holes each round preventing me from a really good score.

Playing tomorrow somewhere.

Pass the gravy.

They didn't broadcast the playoff. I had to watch a repeat on YouTube.

Wife and I played 9 holes this afternoon! We got paired up with another twosome...Dad and his 12 year son. Dad shot a 41 and son shot a 34. Wife shot a 44 and I shot a 42.

This 12 year old was something else. 280 yard drives piped right the middle of the fairway every time. His brother won the Drive, Chip & Putt contest (7-9 year old group) in 2022 at Augusta National. We will see them both on the tour in the future.

I'm feeling like GasGuzzler now. Yesterday I played 4 round of golf and hit 250 ball on the range..... I still sweated my balls off. Just glad it was 73 instead of 98.

Battled the trees and slick greens at Lake Murray yesterday and didn't shoot much worse than average despite the course being more difficult.

Playing the muni today at 2:30 if there's not too much rain this morning.

Pass the gravy.

Played Frisco Fields - West yesterday. This is the new PGA and Omni resort course. Shot a 45. Everything was in great shape but man those greens are humbling and super fast.

Got to play golf two Fridays in a row… first two rounds in the last 2-3 years! I need to make this more of a regular thing.

It'll take something pretty special to get me back to Lake Park, Lewisville. Didn't have a cart for my tee time, took nearly five hours to play 18, and the fairways are so narrow and intermingled, I lost 3-4 balls from people picking them up.

Pass the gravy.

Is a golfer really a athlete? ? Oh my gosh don’t get that started with some men! Back to the original post.

That sucks, I wouldn’t want to go back either. What day / time did you play? We teed off on a Friday at 10:30am as a twosome (the other twosome we were paired with bailed). Pace of play was good, and they had plenty of carts - even asked if we each wanted an individual one. The course is a glorified cow pasture, but it was in really good shape for what it is. I had no complaints.

A fall Saturday 2022. Pre-paid tee time online was around noon.

Exactly. Early Friday AM is obviously different than noon Saturday on any course.

Never had any luck in Denton County where I grew up. Played The Tribute April of 2021. It was a MESS and $100 per person. Played the crap hole Timberlinks in Denton and it took 45 minutes to get me a cart after my scheduled time, took 20 minutes to tee off from off the tee box as they were "seeding" but had no warning online. Took nearly three hours to play the first nine. Took a raincheck I will never use.

Playing a member-guest tournament on a modified Stableford system at Denton Country Club on July 28.
Maybe I can live with a Denton County course.

Pass the gravy.

You will have a great time. I know we did back in December when we were there. We took our own clubs and had no problems with lost luggage.

Joined in with two others (one employee off work and another buddy) when all my guys bailed off yesterday's tee time. The one guy was going around for his third lap that day. 54 holes and he finished -5 or so on the day.

Pass the gravy.
