If any of yall are in and around San Antonio, or the hill county. The Quarry is looking good, and Vaaler Creek is perfect. The greens look artificial and the fairways are perfect.

I tried to get a round in today at Silverhorn, but we cut it short because of the storm. We got in the front nine before we called it. I shot a 42, with 16 putts my game is really coming around. I'm almost ready for the THF Open....

Can someone recommend a golf course on the west side of Houston?

Oh yes. After replacing EVERY club I own during the Holidays, my handicap is finally going back down. Weather forecast for today has changed for the better so I will likely play solo today and try and find someone to play with tomorrow, likely my usual Sunday folks.

Are we doing a THF Golf get-together this spring?

FYI...new PGA Headquarters golf courses in Frisco are now accepting tee times.

I'm gonna play Meadowbrook farms. It was between Meadowbrook, and blackhorse, but Meadowbrook ended up working out best for me. The wife has a meeting to go to so I told her to drop me off at the golf course, and I'll keep myself occupied.

Won a little money at the Thursday night get together. Probably playing Lake Murray Saturday and Thursday for sure. Got people from DFW coming up for that.

Man I played like crap yesterday..... too many bad shots, and couldn't make a putt for my life. Lightning fast greans.

Meadowbrook is a Greg Norman designed course I believe. My son played in an AJGA tournament there about 15 years ago. Speith was in the tournament, playing up with the 18 yo group.

Shot my average yesterday ... 94 with 26 putts. If I could only learn to hit more greens...

Lake Murray this morning then 9-hole cash scramble tonight, early golf Friday at the muni before heading to Commerce, charity tournament Saturday AM, unsure about Sunday at this point.

Got a round of solo speed golf at 7:30. Expect to be on the way home by 9:00.

Played 108 holes between Wednesday afternoon and Sunday. No more for a few days after the rain.

Been a while since I played that course. Fun track.

Played Landa Park, cool little course. Shot an 84, bad front 9, but locked it in on the back 9. Back to back 80s, I'm making progress.

I would welcome an 84. Haven't put a good round together in a while. Will be trying today at 2:30.

I seem to be able to go sub 40 for nine holes from time to time..... now if I can only put a full round together it would be nice. I went 45-39 yesterday.

91 Sunday but not too disappointed because the last three holes it was raining and the wind was blowing 20. Temp dropped 15 degrees in the time it took to play one hole.

Played a quick 9 in McKinney yesterday….41. Only a couple miss hits but birdied both par 3’s to make up for it.

going to try and play in a couple weeks. To preserve my wrist and because I play Strickley for fun, I will tee all my fairway shots hoping not to make contact with the ground. We'll see.
