The wife and I played a 4 person shamble Wednesday. My wife was on fire with her tee shots 230 down the middle of the fairway just about every time..... most times we used her ball. She has come a long way.

Some sim progress pics. Ese, make sure you still put something behind your hitting tarp and before wall, should the tarp get compromised. Also, put that tarp a foot or two from wall would be my advice. If your driver ballspeed is 160+ as you've said, the tarp will take a beating over time depending how much you hit...

Thanks DQ, I put up the hitting screen a foot away from the wall, and it has bungee cords that keep it pretty tight, but I did put quarter inch matting on the wall just in case I uncorked one....

What did the simulator cost you?
I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

What did the simulator cost you? The launch monitor itself was 10k but I'm sending it back to get the newer version the Eye XO 2. It has a larger hitting area that works better for limited space, and allows you to hit off different surfaces. It runs 12k.

4th chip-in in three weeks Saturday. Scores staying about the same though. Three pars and a bird but coughed up three triples.
Let's see how it goes today at 2:30.
Pass the gravy.

Does it have a program where you can play 18 holes? Yep, they are many different softwares you can run with the simulator. GS Pro probably the one I'm going to go with. They have tons of golf courses available to play including Augusta, Pebble Beach, and St Andrews. The list goes on and on even including local golf courses.

Sunday was a roller coaster. Eight pars, three doubles, two triples and only 29 putts.
Pass the gravy.

89 Putting is not my issue. It's 220 yards in to about 100 yards where I have the most trouble.
Pass the gravy.

I haven't been out in over two weeks messing with this sim, just booked a tee time for Friday 80% chance of rain...... Yes I dared to, filled in for a sick golfer in our club's Sr. Two-man match play (net), 5, 9-hole team matches, 27 Sat. and 18 holes yesterday. Heat index was 110 Sat. and 105 yesterday, minimal wind both days. Happy to report a flight 1st place finish and mostly strong driving of golf ball both days with some birdies and a few doubles thrown in. Drank lots of H2O.

Anyone dare go out in this heat? I work in it all day so my days off on the course are tolerable. Started on the back Saturday afternoon and scored my first 30-something with a 39 (par 34). One double, one bird chip in no putt, and three pars. Started well on the front with a par on the P5 #1 into a big wind. Got a little loose and finished with an 87. Good GOOD for me. Played Sunday in the heat. Front nine 2V2 we got 5up, 1down, two AS holes. The others left and partner did a 2-man for a +4 on the back. No way I was playing after work today. Contractors working on my house, 113 HI with temp at 100, and a lot of non-AC work environment.
Pass the gravy.

We scrambled yesterday, and it went well. I hit bombs, 3 300yd drives exactly where I wanted. I didn't miss the fairway once with the driver. I won closest to the pin at 1 1/2 foot, and missed out on long drive by 3 yds.
I have a round tomorrow at 9 with my buddy that had hernia surgery in the beginning of May, so it won't be competitive.
Golf sim should be here Tuesday
