It’s not cheap. $250 per gun. He charged me $500 for the fitting and $400 for each wood stock manipulation.

Best I’ve had done was an over under by Larry Feeland in Cypress. I already had a sheet with my ideal dimensions previously generated with a try gun. First order of business was a recoil pad to add length of pull. Then we spent most of a day back and forth from the pattern board to alterations in the shop till it was perfect. Total cost was $750. Any subsequent adjustment after initial fitting was included in the $750. This was several years ago. No clue what his prices are now. That was modifying a right hand cast wood stocked over under to left hand. Adding length of pull. Toeing it out a smidge. Adding drop. Altering the pitch so recoil is spread evenly on the shoulder and muzzle rise was all but eliminated. For those contemplating a fitted shotgun, it is a nice upgrade but you still have to be able to shoot to realize the benefits. How much difference did it make? I’m a bird hunter rather than a competitive clays shooter. I can’t say how much difference it made. What I can say is I’ve ran more 100 straights with that little twenty than all my other shotguns combined.

Got my 12 gauge Benneli back last week. Andrew went to the range with us and we shot our improved guns. I hit the first 15 clays I shot at. It was really nice to know when the gun hits my cheek it was perfect. I'll get my 20 gauge back next week. My duck hunting buddy had his 20 gauge Browning auto done and he was very pleased We will get on the pattern board in a couple of weeks. He's going to make me a second pad for my 12 that's a 1/2" shorter for duck season.
