I have more than enough of my own to hunt but I could introduce you guys up Just busting your chops buddy,,

I tried really hard to wind the Team Yota guys up lol, These days all trucks are decent and all can be crappers on any given day so whatever flavor your into I’d say it’s a solid choice.

I bet his neighbor really appreciates Ol Thumper.

My neighbor and I were just having this conversation. We both switched out from F-250s last year; he got a GMC and I went Chevy. We both were lamenting leaving the blue oval. Brand loyalty is nothing more than an advertiser's wet dream, but for trucks Ford>GM>Dodge.

If I hadn't married into a family that has a GM dealership, I'd still be in a blue oval.

I was hot to buy a new Tundra, but kinda lost the urge. Got 185k on the present Tundra, and for now I’ll stay with it. If I was to step away from Toyota, I’d most likely buy a Ford 150 or 250.

The Tundra has 190k on it. Been in the shop only twice, both times for brakes.

So, every 95,000 you have to put new pads on.
Not about to change anything.

grin there are many like it, but this one is mine. Could have bought any truck I wanted, but this is what I got. It isn’t perfect. The electronics are pretty glitchy and the pano sun roof has had a couple of problems. But Judd gave me some lube for it and it works great. Thanks Juddy!

Yeah, those pano moon roofs will squeak and rattle. A little lube every 6 months or so makes it go away.

Mine rattles a little, I just pop it open and shut it to reseal it and it goes away. My problem was I hadn't opened it all winter long, come spring time I go to open it and the seal was so stuck that it broke the plastic rails it rides on. It was still under warranty so it was fixed, but had it not been under warranty it would been pretty expensive. I think it was around $1800 to replace the rails, and the rails are only $30 each.

I do not know about up north, but it seems like all of the oilfield trucks and large construction companies fleet vehicles are Fords here in Texas, wonder why nidea

I have noticed that Ram drivers are the worst, more Ghey people drive Chevy/GMC trucks cuz they think they are pretty and see very few Tundra or Tacoma trucks in the country.

My fairly new neighbor neighbor who is a pure bookworm city boy just bought a new Tacoma for over $50,000, told him nice looking truck what are you going to use it for?
Just to drive around in.

Yes I have an F150 up

In Georgetown, if you see a 3/4 GM it has deep dish 22" rims, low profile tires, and a lift. The guy driving it will have white Oakleys and a flat bill hat. Ford and Ram have a much higher percentage of trucks getting used as trucks.

If I go to my place down south, you see a lot of ranchers in GM trucks. Most of the fleet trucks are Ford/Ram. But if you see one with the brodozer treatment, it's almost always a Ford down there.

Try Midland/Odessa. No vehicle is safe from that nonsense.

SMDH. You are NOT what you drive, no matter how much Madison Avenue wants you to believe to the contrary. There are way more important things in life than the #$%^&*+ brand of the light-duty truck that gets you from point A to point B.

Even so, pretty sure I would never get rid of a classic Bronco.

A. It wasn't "a classic".
B. It's, technically, still in the family.

This is the classic my brother let someone else (at least a family friend) have; technically half-mine, with zero compensation to me of course. Siblings.

Hey, but thanks for bringing up a really sore, bitter subject! up grin

I have a soft spot for camo Early Broncos. I’ve restored 2 of them. Creek, that one is in much better shape than both of them. Is it available?

Thank you sir, but no. That aggie (see the two Fords in the garage) ain't gonna release it. He was kind enough to show it to me at his ranch. It was emotional. (Half-way kidding, half-way not.) It was Dad's. After Dad bought it from a neighbor, when I was a kid, for hunting, he bought a pristine '67 hardtop with 40K original miles. 'Talk about making you cry! 'Brother got that one too, but, in all fairness, Mom gave me Dad's '68 'Stang (289) at the same time.
