I've been wanting to kill this sow after jumping her and her brood several weeks back without being able to get off a shot. Just happened across her late yesterday while checking the pastures for rooting activity. Also shot a smaller one that was actually bigger than I thought after my efforts to load this one. My focus continues to be taking out the mature producers and let the song dogs and other predators clean up the young.

Shooting my ugly Savage .243 with Winchester's new 85-grain Copper Impact ammo. A very comfortable load for sure.

If I didn't know any better I would say she was getting ready to squirt out another half dozen or so.
