I like things that make me smile. 10mm has consistently put a smile on my face over the years. A Delta has been on my wish list for years but my TRP or Wesson Kodiak are hard to beat for quality and accuracy.

Not a 1911 fan, but love some 10mm. Currently residing in the safe are a Super Redhawk 10mm and an Sig P320 XTEN. Both are a joy to shoot.

Biggest drawback I’ve seen in general is hard to find magazines. Would’ve loved to have grabbed one years ago when their prices hadn’t gone beyond what I think their value is. Sweet pistol though.

Had no idea prices were up on it It’s my bear defense pistol and doubles as a quick dispatch for game that’s not quite dead yet. And for anyone who who says 10mm isn’t a good bear defense round, I could care less to argue with you on that. The FN510 is my next one since it’s threaded.

Bought some 10mm bullets I might load into .40 S&W cases if I can get some of those.

Checkmate Industries has a 10mm 1911 magazine that is top quality and I think retail on it is only $27. You can buy them directly on their website and there's not a shortage. The last batch of them that I bought had some kind of black low friction coating on the follower that made them super slick.

I use WC 10mm mags and eBay has them available all of the time. Yes they’re $35+ a piece but they’re WC and they work.
