I’m picking up a male pup next month who was sired by Maestro. I did some research on him and he sounds like the real deal. Just looking to see if anyone has real world experience with any of his pups. Thanks

I’ve been around Maestro and seen him run quite a few times. Seen several of his pups.

He was a big good looking dog in his prime. Nice temperament.

With any popular stud dog you’ll find their offspring will vary to a degree due to the number of litters they have had.

I tend to look more at the female. If the dam was nice you should be pleased with your Maestro pup!

Thanks for the replies. The dam has a great pedigree also. Hopefully will turn into a great dog. Tara is a great looking dog.

Thanks, she is a fireball, I'll tell you that. When I would go out of town she gets so depressed, so bad my family took her to the vet they thought something was wrong with her. I told them, just take her to the park and throw the ball, she will not be depressed. This was a pic my daughter took of her, at the park, you can tell she has a ball in her hand. She does not look depressed.

He throws some really nice dogs. My Maestro son is big and powerful, no fear, busts brush and water with the same drive. He is always eager to please and quickly figures out the task. He can also clear a six foot fence. Only down side is he's a tad too vocal.

Thanks for the info about your maestro pup. How big is your dog? I’m curious as to his size. The dam weighs 70 pounds

That’s a decent sized female. I don’t see Maestro’s weight listed on HLP or anywhere else but seeing him in person I would guess he’s all of 85+…

I would expect the pups to be on the bigger side.

Thanks for the information. Sounds as if I’m probably going to get a pretty large full grown dog. The pups are 3 weeks old now and from the pictures I am expecting a larger dog.
