It was a short range shot with a barely moving animal and he placed the pellet right in the brain. While this may work well for this sort of sniping, I would not expect similar results on him trying to drop running hogs.
It was a great shot. He did exactly what he needed to do to make the caliber work. Pigs really are not hard to kill if you put the pellets/bullets in the right places.

All true, DNS. Tell me, is the absolute money spot the earhole or is there something about a line between the eye and the earhole where a pig is particularly vulnerable?

I couldn’t see the exact point of impact in the video. Obviously, a brain shot, but I would have liked to have seen the exact aiming point.
