Think they’re playing Phillies at 3pm.

I haven’t watched Rangers in a couple years because of Bally Sports. Ballys sports sucks and I’m not paying for it. Rant over.

An acquaintance is throwing out the first pitch. Some may know him, Ranger Reuben Mankin.

Go Rangers.

Picked up help in the off season, especially pitchers.
Hoping they compete this year.

I’m in.

It's the first year since 2016 that there is optimism. Chris Young made some great aquisitions and hired a top notch manager. For whatever reasons, they never made the manager a priority in the last 10 years (Tim Bogar, Jeff Bannister, Chris Woodward) and there have been some very questionable decisions that lost games. And we finally have an ace.

Also, more than anything, baseball as a whole will become "watchable" again with the removal of the shift and implementation of the pitch clock. Games will be ~2:30 now.

About time. It always seems to take forever for baseball to start. Go Rangers….

If Bochy and company finish over .500 it will be an absolute miracle.

IIRC they lost probably 30 more games than they won last year, losing about 100 games. You don't make a 30 game swing, IMO, by adding one decent pitcher to the roster, along with a very average/mediocre lineup. Just my opinion.

Slugfest

Not to happy that our $37M dollars per year "Ace" gave up 5 runs and lasted a whooping 3.2 innings. scared

It’s actually quite a roster makeover. Only 12 guys from last year are on this year’s team. And Nathaniel Lowe is the only player from the 2021 team (I think). I’m not saying they’re going to win the pennant, but there is hope for optimism for the first time in many years.

Our company has the suite directly behind home plate at field level. Safe to say I'll never see it.

YAY!!!!!
Go little Rangers !!

sorry, I gave up too early. Hopefully Sunday, I can watch the whole game and familiarize myself with all the players. I haven't watched them since Pudge and the World Series debacle.
