1992 Marlin 1894 chambered in .357 magnum and a 10 shot 100 yard group with open sights and my own full house home cast 158’s. .38 specials in it feel like a .22 magnum. At 62 I don’t know how long the eyes will allow me to keep doing it but it is just good clean fun!

Those Henry's are fun guns.

I've had a few feeding issues but overall its a blast to shoot

Some of my lever guns. Gun cabinet was my dad’s. Inexpensive from Sears and almost 50 years old but is priceless to me. Ruger accidentally in pic. (for hogs that were bad in yard)

Winchester 94AE in 30-30 Win.

For many years was my primary whitetail rifle until trading a revolver
for a bolt rifle so it wore a 4X scope which worked fine. I’ve since
installed the XS Ghost ring.

Removing the factory buckhorn rear sight left
a dovetail groove in the barrel. Marbles sight slot blank
was the recommended filler. Due to being made to the
very outside spec’s it took quite a bit of file work to fit.
Even before fitting it was obviously not the flush fit I
was hoping for. Only other thing I can think to do is
cut and file the original to fill the slot. But even then
it will not be flush so probably will not.

I really like the ghost ring much more than the buckhorn.
This is a terrible pic of the sight view but gets the idea across.

Nice rifles.

My Baby “Jolene” is a 444 XLR Converted to Straight Stock Walnut cut and recessed crowned at 20” by RPP with WWG trigger and extractor, and XS Ghost.

I’ve decided that I’m going to get my ancient Win 38-40 out of the safe and shoot a pig with it. I’ve had it 40+ years. Well, first I will have to get the old ammo out and see if it is still good.

Ranger Point Precision has fitted blanks that look a lot better. I have a Lyman like your Marlbles in my Waffle Top but the RPP part in my Peanut 39A. I later put one on a Rossi R92 .454 Casull ... and they have metric dovetails. Still looked better than the Lyman.

Thanks GG, the RPP blank does look better.
Appreciate you letting me know about it.
Hopefully they will be back in stock by Fall of 2023.

Glad the Marbles part was only $6.00. up
