It did zero to reduce crime. But let's do the same thing again, and expect a different result. Seems like someone said what that is akin to over 250 years ago.

He's just throwing his mob a bone. No different than his pre-election promise to cancel student loans, which he has done twice, knowing full well he has no authority to do so. Promise the impossible, get the votes, blame Republicans for the unkept promise. Repeat.
