Has anyone used any from Stealth Project?

https://stealthproject.com

The boss is wanting on and would like to get her one, noise and recoil reduction being the main goal. Will most likely be going on a 16.5 inch Grendel at least for now since that is what we have threaded.

I am a dead air fan...liked their QD setup and selection of muzzle breaks...which are available online and Scheels usually has a decent selection of their accessories. I think their Cerakote could be better though (although in all fairness I am pretty rough on stuff in general)

Dead Air, Ti version. Direct thread only. IMO

Cant go wrong with Dead Air just because of their lifetime no frills warranty.

And by the way don't think about getting a suppressor. Do it now. Start that clock ASAP.

GO TRUMP!

I have a YHM Phantom 5.56 suppressor, got it back in Nov 2013 - and its great, good sound suppression, but wish i got it in a .30cal to be more universal.

but yes - stay with the big name brands - buy once cry once. A few of my other hunting buddies use silencerco, surefire, and AAC, no issues and great customer service for warranty and servicing.

To go on the topic of getting a "non-mainstream" brand/manufacturer,
I got a Keystone Armory .22LR can - baffles look so similar to a Silencerco Sparrow, but they went out of business back in 2016 or 2017.
So now the can cannot be serviced or warrantied - not sure if a local gunsmith is willing to work on it, but if anything goes wrong with the can...I'm SOL

I started out with a Dead Air Sandman S. My LGS had one in stock and it is a true do-it-all suppressor. It's not the quietest nor lightest available, but it can go on anything up to 300 Norma Mag (or something similar), has no barrel length minimum, and I will never shoot it out. I was informed that I would not stop at one, and everyone was correct. But, if you just want one, it would be a good one to consider.

If I'm waiting a year I'm doing it right. The price is what makes the popular. Been around a few and I would wait till I had a couple more hundred to spend. My buddys isn't quiet and it just cracked.

Agreed. I will, however, give props to the YHM universal QD mounts. I replaced the garbage Silencerco QD mount that came with my Saker 762 with the YHM and it has been absolutely AWESOME.

What makes the SiCo QD garbage?

Im about to buy 2 more YHM’s. I have an old YHM Phantom SS that weighs 2 pounds and it’s my most used suppressor. I have 5 others but I anyways go back to YHM. Their QD system is awesome and I’ve had guys come up to me after matches and ask what suppressor I was using because it was way quieter than the other guys suppressors. YHM is quality stuff at a great price. Also YHM doesn’t need Ti suppressors the way they weld in line they keep their weight down to Ti weights still using SS to be cost effective.

I went with the resonator R2 based on the silencer shop testing. One of the best 30 cal reductions available. 16oz and $500 seemed like a winner. I haven’t shot around many other suppressed rifles bit it sure has met any and all of my expectations.

The fact that they stick if you look at them funny. Google "trifecta/maad mount problems." Never gave the updated ASR mount a chance...went YHM and never looked back.

Regardless of the brand (dead air fan here), if you want it before deer season, you better get it bought quick!!

This waiting crap is ridiculous!!

Government is in no hurry. They got your $200 up front and will take their sweet time issuing the stamp…and you will like it! Good luck.

I purchased mine a couple years ago when the wait was supposed to be 7 months meaning I would have it right before deer season. That 7 months turned into 14 and I got it for the following deer season.

I agree, but I would add Thunderbeast to this list.

To make it simple...get a 7" lightweight 30 cal direct thread.

Even so, I'm so happy with the YHM, any future suppressors will likely wear their QD mounts too.

Agree 100%. I have two as well, the Resonator and Resonator K. I'd buy more in a heartbeat.
