New quotas are out for this Fall. These list the total number of licenses for each species, not broken down by NR/R allotments yet. R's get 80% of total, 20% for NRs guaranteed. We have meetings next week here in town at WG&F so I should have more info on things around our part of the state, and some limited specific info on other parts after the meeting. Some good cuts to deer tags and pronghorn. Looks like some more cow elk tags available with less restrictions in the areas, private / public land restrictions. I'll ask about those. https://wgfd.wyo.gov/Get-Involved/Public-Meetings

Some good cuts to antelope tags and deer. Some areas are ok but some are suffering winter kill this year. Might be some cow elk tags in the leftover draw in June, they have lessened restrictions on some cow elk tags.

Meeting last night at WG&F. Things look ok for our area, deer and pronghorn. Elk too. Some areas have cuts to antelope tags but a couple are actually doing well. Biggest concern is Western side of the state, deer are not doing well- fawns and doe getting hit with winterkill. Some elk kill as well. Antelope are getting hit hard in some areas also, Red Desert and Central Wyo. Bio. where we hunt antelope said the sage grouse look ok over there, saw more this year on winter range but not sure of they were just concentrated. Game birds are faring ok she said. I think you can watch the slide shows they had at each meeting online. Each area of the state has a video. https://wgfd.wyo.gov/Hunting/2023-Season-Proposals/Regional-Season-Proposal-Presentations
