I watched several highlights from teams spring games. Focusing only on a few positions. Arch looked underwhelming. Tennessee’s freshman Nico Laamaeleva who was ranked 2. Looks really good.
Trying to compare apples to apples.

Its pretty obvious that Arch is 3rd on the current depth chart. I don’t see him moving up this year.

Texas is gonna need to replace Bijan or teams will take away the pass.

I watched it. It is very clear Arch is well behind Ewers and Murphy at this point. I think that's a good thing and he'll be able to learn the offense and get more comfortable over the next year. Murphy looked great and I think they need to figure out how to work him into the game plan this year, otherwise he'll enter the portal.

They are super stacked at running back right now, they need the big uglies up front to open up holes. Brooks will probably be the starter next year along with Keilan Robinson, followed by Red, blue, and the number one running back in last year's class.

I think the running game is actually going to be good. They aren't going to replace Bijan and Roschon. But, the team's best back, Jonathon Brooks, didn't play in the spring game because he's coming off of injury. CJ Baxter is a 5* who enrolled early and is widely regarded as one of the top 2 backs nationally in the 2023 class. Jaydon Blue was probably the best back for UT on Saturday and I'm really glad he didn't end up transferring this past offseason.

According to Carter, he’s welcoming the heat that comes with playing for the Longhorns – quite literally.

“Great atmosphere, great environment and warm weather,” Carter told Inside Texas’ Justin Wells. “Tired of playing in Big Ten. Too cold. I think I can really help in Austin.”

Bear Alexander in the portal from UGA has 3 Denton Ryan former teammates on Texas that are trying to persuade him to come to Austin. Whether he's interested or not is another matter, but they are actively lobbying for him.

I saw some Longhorn propaganda earlier. Someone has Ewers as a top 10 pick next year. Even the Longhorn guys were commenting it was absurd at this point.

Yeah, it could happen but he has a lot to prove this year. If he doesn't make that improvement he might be in a battle with Murphy.

At least they did have Caleb Williams, #1 and Drake Maye of UNC, #4 before him...

Texas is set to make a killing this year leading up to the move to the SEC. We tried to get an extra set so that my son's friend could sit with us...... and it was a no go! The damn section Is full. In the 9 years that we've had season tickets we've never seen it like this. Texas made money before the move, I can't imagine what that will look like in the next couple of years, especially if they start winning.

Rumor is Soros bought up all the tickets.
