CTX Mav I had a similar problem on a feeder recently. In my case there was a string wrapped around the motor shaft that kept it from feeding. I was able to stuff a cloth in the corn outlet to stop the corn from falling out. Removed the string and made sure the spinner was tight on the shaft.

If it is sols as an protein feeder it should hold the advertised amount of feed. We also use antler max. I did have a battery bite the dust a few months back.

I haven’t been happy with my feeder’s, the deer don’t like eating out of them for some reason, they don’t have a lot of room to get their mouths in.
I set it on one second in the morning and they still don’t clean it up, I have a gravity feeder that we have to constantly fill, they eat out of it with no problems.

One second? On only second I don't see how it will dump enough for deer to be able to get to it. Mine, one cycle for 6 seconds. They clean it up every day.

We are running 8 of the 600 and 1000 and have had good luck

I inherited 2 ASF broadcast stand and fill feeders with the property I bought and have had zero problems with them. Based on that experience, I purchased a 1000# timed protein feeder and could not get deer to stick their heads under the hoods for several months. I have had great success using a roasted soybean mix in a few gravity Banks feeders so I knew the feed wasn't the issue.I finally took an angle grinder and cut off one of the hoods as an experiment and the deer have since been hammering the feeder on all 4 sides. I guess they just needed to figure it out?!? The feeder mechanism itself works flawlessly.

I've used ASF feeders exclusively on my property for the past 3 years. Can't say I'd ever want to try out anything else!
