I wish we had them here in Fairfield. Had them in Temple and Salado. We have mornings, collars, and white wings….

Inca’s are my favorite though

We see a good bit of them on my uncles place in Hondo and a handful every season in Del Rio.

Used to have them all the time around here near the Brenham TX area, think the Red Tail hawks keep them at
bay mostly. When that old female is around dont see many other small birds. She keeps the population of vermin to
a minimum around here.
Had the Inca Doves at our kitchen bird feeder last year some, but none this year. Maybe the big freeze did effect the population
some?

Have a pair that came in the spring, hang around the house most of the day. If you read up on them, they prefer to be around people and houses/farms.

They are stupid easy to call up and will almost always respond if they hear you
