Like many utv's my Honda 700 has different sized front and real tires. If getting a spare what would be the best choice if needed for a flat or can us do this with the different sized tires mixed?

More than likely you will need the spare just for short term and then fix or replace the bad tire - I have run two sizes for a short period and was no problem

I carry an extra front tire spare for my mule pro. It will fit on rear also, rear won’t fit front very well. Rear tire is wider.

I only use run-flat tires, problem solved.

They should both be the same height. If that’s the case, then you’ll have to deal with the wheels being wider and having a different offset. That’s the biggest issue you really have to contend with. Honda is notorious for having both different width and different off set, which is just stupid.
