What mixture are you using? XX black powder which is “rifle/shotgun”grain size. Really need one “X” or “ BP Cannon” to give it a full run. Because the smaller grain (faster burning) I was loading light plus shooting very light projectiles. This cannon is designed to fire a 19 lb cast iron projectile attached to a 700 rope. Max load was 8 oz. Recoil with a 1.5 oz charge was about 6’….recoil with 8 oz charge was significantly farther…..

Here is a longer vid which shows the loading process. In case anyone is wondering, SnakeWrangler made sure proper fire and safety measures were in place. This is a real deal cannon, not a toy. (and it was fun as hell)

Was anyone down range with a tennis racquet? No sir! But when I find a long plowed field I will have people down range to better measure distance given load and projectile

You're so lucky you live "over yonder". Popo would have been all excited here.
