I sell new homes, and you would be amazed at the number of people that are still trying to “negotiate” all the way up to closing. Demanding we add this or that or they won’t close. I’m to the point of telling them to get lost, even though my salary is commission based. Then they go online and bash the company for not being “customer oriented”.

I’m not advocating what they do but you have to admit builders have built a pretty bad reputation the last few years gouging people and then asking For more money or they back out on the deal. I’m sure there are many good builders out there but personally, I’ve soured towards them myself.
