Anyone have good ways of killing these?
I have never had them before but there are tunnels and little mounds all over my front yard.
The googles didn’t provide a lot of promising information

Ive done traps, posion worms, kaput etc. I even spent 600 on a grub worms program, that didnt work either
year round traps is only decent effectiveness.

Deal with them annually, two things I have found that work. The solar, pulsating stakes will drive them off to neighbors, not kill them. Probably need 3-4 placed apart in front yard and same in back. The pulsing mimics predators to them. Your neighbors won't much like them pushing from your place but they may have come from them in the first place. To kill them, I've used the poisonous worms from Lowes or Home Depot to good use. Have to bait the most active mounds and several of them but they will eat them and die, for sure. Happy Hunting...

I have mostly found a network of tunnels that you can see because they are raised from the ground a little.
I have only found a couple spots where the dirt is thrown out but doesn’t look much like a mound.
I had a bunch of struggle with my yard over the summer, I just want nice st augustine grass.
Sounds like this will be one more thing to fight with
I appreciate the input, and any other ideas are welcome, but I will definitely give these a shot.

I had fun staking out a fresh hole waiting for one to pop up. When my cross bred terrier was still around I would hold her about 5 feet from the hole...she would be shaking in anticipation. When a critter would pop up to throw dirt I'd turn loose and she would launch. If she caught it she would parade around the yard showing it off.

I have a heeler/pointer mix that would have been all over this 5 years ago, she probably would dig the whole yard up back then. Today, she doesnt want to get off the couch at almost 14.

I've been using these. Might have to chase new holes for a few days but they were more effective than the ones that Home Depot sells. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2023/02/full-7347-380851-screenshot_20230212_101854_amazon_shopping.jpg)

Get you a couple of the Easy Mole Traps. I have two of these and my neighbor has 3, we have just about eliminated them from our places. Mole Trap

Coffee. Moles hate coffee. But the largest can of the cheapest coffee, spread it out, let the rain water it in. We started with a perimeter around the house and worked our way out.
Our cats hunt the moles also. One cat dug into the tunnel, left her nasty business behind.

You mean like this? That's what my two look like whenever there is a critter tunneling through the yard.
