It was a great restaurant and the owner always kept you entertained with his stories about coming to the USA and working hard to be a success. It will be missed.

Just seeing this now and wish nothing but the best for Ali and his family. The best steak in Texas is now just a memory, a darn good one though

Just seeing this now and wish nothing but the best for Ali and his family. The best steak in Texas is now just a memory, a darn good one though Yup Ali, Patty and Jesse decided it was time. Loved that place. His brother's place in Abilene is still going strong. Many of the workers are there now. The shiskabob was the best deal on the menu and delish. They had huge crowds the last few nights a couple of weeks back.

Heard a great rumor that the Beehive, in Albany, will be up and running full speed fall of 2023. I know Ali had it for sale, hopefully that sale happened and it opens back up.

Hey Double AC, how did the Beehive steak compare with one from Perini Ranch Steakhouse? I've heard they know how to treat a good piece of beef pretty well down in Buffalo Gap.
