Tripled 18 for a 80 today, couldn't finish it out but still grinding, torn left knee meniscus and all, lol. My two birdies were highlight shots, par-4 from 105 yards, sandwedge to 2" and on closing par 3, 5 iron into light headwind from 180 yards to 8" behind hole. Hit driver just ok today.

I lost 6-3 with nine push holes to someone with 0.6 "worse" HCi ... both same age, both swing left. Can't complain I guess as his score was only four better and I have been playing for five years, him all his life.

I let him kick two out of trouble (less than a club), he let me kick one. I gave him 2-3 putts in the 4' range. He gave me none. Lesson learned.

I've set a goal to break 80 by the end of the year. I think it's attainable.

Right there with you. Coming up on five years playing and I've gone from HCI of 67 to 14.5. Shot 82 three times and no better. HCI has come down from 19 to 14.5 in 2024. Need that 79. I'll try again today.

I just started playing rounds regularly the last three weeks. Im gonna try and play weekly from here on out. Our 9 hole Wednesday night scrabble ends in two weeks. It's a lot of fun but not quite the same as a round of golf. I need to play more rounds.

Aside from 9 holes played right handed in 1991 or 1992, I never played until October 2019 so I am happy with mid-80's but I want more.

Wife & I played the Par 3 course last night at the OMNI PGA Frisco. Par is 30, shot a 32 and wife shot a 37. You only need to carry 3 clubs...Putter, W and maybe a SW.

85 in the heat today. It'll do. HCI back to 15.0 after a scare Monday.

82 today but could of been better but greens are trash and to top it off, they sanded the greens heavily. I struggled getting putts to the hole. All pars and bogeys with one double. Personal best for me, still need to break 80 by the end of the year

82 three times here but never an 81 or better.

Interesting round today, 43-37 @ Brookhaven CC, 4, 3 putts and only one birdie.

I'm usually good for a couple a round, but not the day of my 82..... it was strange for sure.

Heading out tomorrow for our golf outing. We are playing The Raven, Burnt Pines, and Raggata Bay. I'm just hoping for good weather.

Shot 90 the first time and 91 the second today. 34 putts the first time, 28 the second. Do with that what makes sense. Guess I'm getting at least four rounds in this weekend.

DFW area golfers…Heritage Ranch in McKinney is in great shape. Played yesterday, shot an 87, wife shot a 92.

Terrible round today, I drove the ball like a boss but had all kinds of trouble finding my distances. 50 on the front with a 43 on the back. back to the drawing board, the girls will be playing with us tomorrow at the Raven.

Played a couple of rounds in the hill country last week. Pleasantly surprised how good of condition the courses were in considering the lack of rain.

How did Vaaler treat you? That place is always in great condition, but boy will it keep you humble.

I played Buckhorn for the first time last month, it's in pretty good condition.

Vaaler was very nice, just have to play a little smarter about shot placement. Course was in great condition except one green was blown up, 80% sand covered.

Another terrible round today, I couldn't do anything right. The Raven is a beautiful course though, if yall are ever down here, give it a go.
