How does it compare to the G425 LST?

Not much difference as far as distance is concerned, 3 or 4 yards at most. Biggest difference is the sound. The 430 LST is muted.

Use to consistently drive the ball 270 - 300 and every now and then up to 320.
Now at 68 I am tickled pink if I can consistently hit it 250+ in the short grass, hit one right at 280 3 weeks ago with no cart path help

She's 225 from the ladies, if you go off the seniors it will be close.

Yeah Stub, getting older sucks for sure...If I move some past 300 nowadays, it's a good one. More in the 275-285 range, mostly through air, very little roll. Goes without saying Boyz, but be sure to use that sunscreen out there. Just had my chest stitches removed yesterday from Basal Cell cancer removal, my first outing with it and hopefully my last ever. Of all places, thought it'd be my arms, face or legs, not my chest under shirts, lol. I do religiously use spray sunscreen. At least my new 3" scar won't be real noticeable unless beaching or swimming. Lol

I have always had power, but zero consistency, but I've been grinding, and things are finally coming together. Driver used to be so bad that I would just go 3 wood off the tee.

I need to try and win something down south. I don't hit 300 often but I can. I play with people that hit 310 five times per round.

Interesting senior gof tourney at Club today, flighted net medal play. First time at it in 3 weeks since skin cancer removal surgery and stitches coming out late Thu. Birdied 3 of First five, but also missed 3 putts for par inside of 2.5', case of yips. 4 doubles, triple and 5 birdies made for a big hodgepodge today, luckily I took 1st in the flight and won 3 of the flights 8 skins for a nice $160 pro shop day. Was good but a little unnerving getting back out there. As bad as my short missed par putting was, the driver game was long and straight, multiple 300+ yards. Good times.

Well, I won $75.

Played terrible, putting woes still there, but not a total chet show. 34 total putts with 2 three putts, and 4 putts missed inside of 3 ft...... the greens were 11 plus, it was like putting on glass. Both of my birdies came from 20ft plus putts thus the mixed review.

Playing with old timers has its benefits, I'm learning how to manage the course. I was 2 over on the par 3s and 6 over on the par 5s..... and on two of those par 5s I was sitting pretty until I tried to reach in two with a 255 yard 3W, and a 220 3I both shots didn't work out like I played it out in my head. On one of the holes I Birdied I actually Took the advice and lay up on a hole I know I could have reached with my 3 wood. It was eye opening to see what high percentage shots could do for a golf score.

If any of this doesn't make sense I feel asleep multiple time while typing this out.

Midland Invitational Tournament is this Thurs-Saturday at MCC. we’ve got a very good championship flight that will be fun to watch. My partner and I have been playing together for 12 years. We haven’t scratched any $ in years, but this year is the year! It’s only going to be 102* this year! Down right frigid.

Have a tournament tomorrow morning. Hopefully I can get in the low 80s.

Mine starts at 13:00 Saturday. This month's format is Paris Rider Cup. I have a 10:20 tee time to get some holes in first.

The only part of my game I haven't worked on came back to haunt me. I have stayed away from my long irons and boy did it show. When long par threes, and par fives left me with a 6-3 iron in I struggled greatly. I was +2 on par 4s and +12 on par 3s and par 5s..... time to address the issue

But hey the putter worked great today no 3 putts and no missed puts under 3ft. That's a win in my book.
