Nice.

We went -2 Wednesday, didn't place, but I won the CTP.

Was going to work around the yard today, but to dang nice not to enjoy the cool weather. Called Plantation golf around 9:30 and asked if a single can get off in about an hour, yep come on.

Dang it was nice out there.

A Democracy is when two wolves and a lamb vote on the dinner menu. That is why this country was specifically not designed as a Democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic.

I gotta work until noon hence the 12:20 tee time. Municipal is less than three miles away from the shop.

My theory on why it is so easy to walk on at the Plantation is several fold; One there is no Marshall out there to keep a good pace of play, if there is a cart girl, I have never seen her and the club house has been in the process of being completely remodeled, think they started working on it around a couple of years ago and it is expected to be completed by 2034 laugh

Have not been able to play all 18 holes there because of really slow players.
Probably scooted past 3 holes yesterday because of goofballs or serious hackers.
But for only $41 it was well worth it up

For the first time ever (five years of playing), we had multiple balls hit at us by the same group off the same tee with no "fore!". One missed a buddy by about 5' behind him as he hit out of a green side bunker. One was just short of our green on one side of the path and another on the other side. Then as we come off the green and drive to the next hole one crossed 10' in front of us and into the bushes. I tried to find that one so I could hit it back at them but the brush was too thick. Happened on our second time through on number four (22nd hole) so two of my friends were tired and ready to leave. They confronted the guys (teen aged boys I think) on the way to the parking lot. The offenders were on the first tee. Guessing about 280 carry and 50-70 yards right of their fairway.

What do you do when this happens? If it's parallel fairways and I don't get a yell, I have run over their ball with the cart or simply picked it up ... but only on close calls and only if they've been causing other issues for me during that round.

Pass the gravy.

I yell FORE and extremely loudly on any and all errant shots whether on my hole or onto an adjoining hole, whether I actually see folks or not. It's a matter of etiquette and safety courtesy and doesn't cost a thing and may actually prevent a nasty injury. My 13yo son at the time was hit on his upper head on the 18th tee box at our country club. Sounded like a walnut hitting concrete after being dropped from a 5 story building. After some crying, lots of blood and ice being applied in proshop and the 1-2" gash finally stopped bleeding, I proceeded to the #10 tee box as the shot had likely come off the adjoining #8, par 5. Turns out the 2nd group that hit #10's tee box had the golfer whom had hit my son. The other golfers with us stuck back and told him what had transpired. Anyhow, my main contention with him was that we heard no warning yell or audible notice given. To say I was hot, would be an understatement. I told him on any future errant shots, he needed to YELL loudly, multiple times to give fair notice and warning.

But have you ever seen four in a row off the same tee box go that far and that far offline?

I agree with the way you handle it. We usually do not even hit if there's someone we can reach, on our hole or otherwise.

Three ladies are at the tee box at the club when a man jumps out of the bushes, buck nekid, extremely well-endowed, with a bag over his head, and runs across the fairway. 'First lady looks at him and says, "Well that's not my husband." 'Second lady says, "Well that certainly isn't my husband." 'Third lady grits her teeth in anger and says "That man's not even a member of this club!" realmad

My putting was horrendous..... I played in a tournament and shot a 90. I had at minimum 3 3-putts, and 1 4-putt, and the bad part is I was on in regulation almost all round.... my punishment is 30 minutes everyday after work.

30 minutes of what, lol. Ese, that's some bad rock rolling bud. I would greatly work on distance control first and foremost over line; he whom lags effectively generally has good lines too from my experience.

Sounds like more than mere coincidence; so what did they say when your buddies confronted them?

Lol, stopping by the course to use their putting green. I didn't lose a ball all round bang bang bang

First for me today, 50 years old and countless rounds of golf and it finally happened. Par 3, 186 yard #8 at Graham Country Club, almost dunked a 6 iron.

Also impressive to me is that you can fly a ball 185 yards 11" with a 6 iron up Probably not that big of a deal with your better players though?
