My son shot a real nice mule deer out in West Texas, we plan to get a shoulder mount.

I live in the Houston area but I'm willing to get the work done outside of Houston.

I would imagine that any taxidermist worth a damn could do a good mulie mount. It isn't like they are exotic game totally foreign to an American taxidermist like a takin or siaga would be.

B&B Taxidermy in Houston has done a lot of mounts for me including Alberta and West Texas mule deer. Not the best pictures of these 3 but they are better in person.

There are plenty of taxidermist in Texas that can’t do a WT worth a damn. To the OP I had mine done by Jerry Huffaker at Huffaker Taxidermy in Abilene.

Blackdog in Hamilton has done some very good looking muledeer IMO. I would not hesitate to take one to him

I have worked with Hip-O Taxidermy 432 837 4277 alpine and with Tye Vick 432-207-0953 both do great work
