Daughter was in town and wanted Whataburger so off we go.
Ordered my usual double meat single cheese all the way with Jalapenos, it was dry and pretty much tasteless.
We also tried out the new Chili Cheese fries and the were meh. Have not been to WB in a while and if memory serves me the last time was pretty much the same, not worth it.

Griff's used to be awesome. (Garland and Mesquite) Best fast food burger I've ever had. Last two times I went there (2 weeks ago, and about 2 months ago) They were dry, ho-hum burgers. So very disappointed.

My kid's & I sat down and ate a burger Saturday at the Paint Rock Grocery store. Really tasty little burgers, was surprised. Now they want to eat there every weekend we go hunting lol. Works for me.

Still one in River Oaks, though, I haven't been in many years.

If y'all are ever in Huntsville or College Station, try out Mr Hamburger. Best burger I've had in years. Huntsville is the original and in an old Sinclair gas station. The College Station location is just about as good.

The best lately is Rodeo Goat Frisco

Grease Monkey in Arlington is awesome. Order the Angry burger.

Another great burger is in North Dallas on Greenville and 635, JG's old fashion burgers.

Both are amazing!

Liberty Burger is very good. Don’t shy away from the lamb. Allen location.
The Grind in McKinney is good too. Don’t know about other location.

Fast food, Freddys is my go to now. Love a good sear.
A good Wendys will work. There a lot that aren’t good.
Braums used to be on the short list but they’ve
gone downhill as well as Whataburger. Poor management.

Not to be confused with LSA in Denton, they still have great burgers. Don’t forget the Brisket Queso, garlic and Parmesan fries and the new Chilli with fresh Serranos

Get the Northshore 50/50 Cheeseburger. Unconventional, but as Samuel L Jackson once said, MMMMM.......That is a tasty burger.

50/50 Blend of Beef and Bacon, Pepper Jack Cheese, Sunny Side Up Egg, Avocado Mash, and Chipotle Mayo on a Brioche Bun. You'll need more than one napkin.

For basic no frills but good hamburger try one of the Burger Box restaurants in the metroplex.

Very upset to confirm that Griffs has gone down hill. Waited 18 minutes in drive thru. Meat had no seasoning and that cafeteria texture. Also no napkins for a triple with cheese? Won’t be back for a few more years

Headed out to the woods yesterday around 12:30 got off on 380 and was starving so I went to the closest place

CB's in Greenville is legit. It's not a chain either. Been around forever.
