Here's a few more successful clients from the last 2 weeks or so of hunting. A mixture of guided, semi guided and DIY. It's been a battle with mother nature this season to say the least. We were blessed with very high rainfall totals in far west Texas but the very warm weather during season and constant fog made the Hunting extremely difficult. Then we had a very dry year on other ranches with late winter rains slowing up activity also. But that's why it's called hunting and the patience and persistence paid off for most. It finally feels like winter so we are about to stack up some more trophies over the next couple of weeks.

The guides have been hard at it and I appreciate there hard work and dedication.

Also for several that have asked recently: we hunt a variety of properties across W. Texas. Some have been strictly managed for years and years, some we are working on improving and some are more relaxed but still managed for numbers. This allows us to offer hunts for all budgets and "different levels" of deer. It's been a blessing and alot of our hunts have been booked for the 2023 season so if you haven't gotten on our schedule give me a call.

What’s the story about the big 6?

That is a management mule deer from one of our places out in the Big Bend area.

Yes, my buck and I are the 12th picture down. (Buzzsaw, we shared the lodge the season you and your daughter hunted there.) That buck didn't have spectacular antlers but he was the oldest buck I've ever shot, and had a large body as can be seen.
