So I have a 730-acre ranch up Jackson County Texas and we have Reliable Water gaps made out of old conveyor belts from a factory, and they’re very, very heavy. It floods to zero to three times a year. By the way the photo the photo of the one with lots were it is flooding was taken in November 1st of 2018 we had axis then. The fences are in great condition. We have blackbuck and the are skinner then aoudads we seen the black buck a lot. We have axis too
On August 12 2019
6 Blackbuck Females .
2 male blackbuck delivered also two male and female aoudads

October 21st 2022
Aoudad
Seven rams
Six Ewes
Thirteen total aoudad delivered.
I have seen one them on the cameras.
One comes to the camp feeder everyday.

So what do you think of aoudads? Does anybody else have aoudad and have Reliable Water gaps

They will push in or out of a water gap IME. Aoudad can jump very well for their size and jump very high a young age. I've very small one jump a 52" tall fence with no issues. 8' is nothing to them if they want to go they will leave your place. Aoudads do not require water to drink daily like most animals here in Texas do. If they get all the native vegetation they like and need they won't hit a feeder. When they do need feed they will camp on a feeder. They are from arid climates so not sure exactly how well they will handle humidity.
Internal parasites could be a major issue with any exotic in that climate and rainfall.

That rubber sure looks like something is rubbing the dirt off on their way out of your place.
