I like them. I think they used to be made by skb. I shot a few rounds of skeet with one and it fit me well. Happy Birthday to you… I think your wife did great.

I had a 12 gauge that I handed down to my son. It was a dream to swing and shoot. The best shotgun I’ve ever owned…and I’ve owned a few over the last 60 years.

Practice doesn’t make perfect.
Practice makes permanent.

Fiancé bought me one for dove season, beautiful gun that points and swings nice. Only shot about half a flat of shells through it this year but it’ll see a lot of use in the future.

Beautiful guns, Orion and Athena. I had the Athena and 2 shooting friends had Orions back in the 80’s & 90’s. The barrels fit on sleeves and all 3 of us had them start to separate now and then, simple fix was to bang them down on the floor/driveway/ etc. butt first and they would go back together. 30ish years ago so hopefully that problem is fixed.

Do not trifle in the affairs of dragons, for thou art crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

I have an Athena. My absolute favorite shotgun

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

I shot a 30" sporting version once as a loaner while on vacation.

Solid solid gun, and I think one of the best values in the O/U game.

It'll go toe to toe with a Citori or Red Label in my experience. Dad has an Orion and I have a Citori both in 12 and I cannot say where one edges out the other. The wife has a Ruger Red Label in 20; its plenty nice, but I prefer the feel of the W'by or Citori over it. All three will be heirloom type guns for our boys, hopefully.
