I like my burgers thin, greasy and cheesy so a triple triple from Jack’s on hillcrest hits the spot. I don’t think it’s a show stopper but it is the burger I can definitely eat the most frequently. Sometimes those great hole in the wall burgers are just too heavy for a weekly thing

Met my son and a friend at Rodeo Goat yesterday at the Market Center Blvd location. I had the Brad Sham burger, a little pricey but pretty darn good burgers.
Take notice, they cook all of the burgers medium well unless you request differently. Wednesday is 1/2 off Cheese fries so oh yeah we indulged.

I thought Rodeo Goat was decent, I wasn't happy with their fries. Then I talked to a buddy who used to frequent the one in Houston. Turns out in regards to the fries they were always hit or miss, the day I went was a miss.

If you are ever in MT Pleasant, try BURGERS & FRIES. I don't think you will be disappointed. Fresh ground beef and fresh sliced real taters. Daniel

Ate at Ford's Garage in Plano the other day. Had something called the sweet and hot burger...I loved it. It was very good. My wife had their Bison burger. I didn't like it as much, it was too dry. Ye Ole Butcher Shop has a much better Bison Burger. Being a Ford guy for the last 30 years I did love all the Ford memorabilia and cars at Fords.

The Braum's in Van Alstyne isn't bad. Triple jalapeno/bacon cheeseburger. Big Bob will approve.

back when they used 1/3 lb patties a double double was huge like that. they went to 1/4 lb and didn't say anything. Also, love the krinkle cut fries.

Yep, the krinkle cut fries are my favorite. We don't have a lot of food options in Van Alstyne so it's nice to have a Braum's.

I was just there last week, I stayed at the Hyatt. I missed out, but I'll be back in a couple of months. This is on the to do list.

I know this is a burger thread but one thing I love at Ford's is their Onion Rings. Every Onion Ring I ever ate, it comes apart at the first bite. Onion comes out, thing collapses, what have you. The Onion Rings at Ford's are about the best I have ever had. They use a panko breading and from first bite to last the onion stays in the onion ring. Still loving their burgers though. We have continued to go back several times. We have a new Rodeo Goat around us but the Ford's is still better.
