Honda has solid driveshafts. No rubberband for a driveline. I haven’t been impressed with the 3 that I raise with. 2 have leaky front diffs. One can’t run in Low range on trails due to chattering in the driveline. One had a simple flip and ate up the sub trans shortly after. I’ll take my rubber band any day. It’s a simple change and the amount of tuning ability to make the clutch work the way you want it to work is great.

CAN AM seems to be overlooked by folks, simply because they do not recognize that name! But say SEA DO or SKI DO and the light comes on. Years ago a solid ATV name was also on the market, the Bombardier 4-wheelers. The decision was made to change the name. So the CAN AM name comes on the scene and people simply do not recognize who or what it is.
In 2012, after having owned two different name brand 4-wheelers, I opted to purchase the CAN AM COMMANDER 800R; I thought it would match the requirements I was looking for, since my primary use was for hunting only - carrying 500 lbs of feed, plowing food plots, and doing all terrain exploration. The Commander has performed exceptionally well, having no mechanical issues other than replacing a fuel pump. It is easy to perform DIY maintenance and add accessories.
CAN AM offers several models depending upon your needs, they even offer racing models which are at the top of that category. My Commander has an electronic gear selector to switch to SPORTS MODE it will do 40mph easily EVEN WITH ALL-TERRAIN TIRES, I not tried to go any faster!
Consequently, with a larger selection of models to match consumer needs, I would strongly recommend the CAN AM based upon its durability and functionality.

Yes CAN AM does offer enclosed cab with doors. Door kits are available also I hunt in Mills County and Hoffpauir Motors has a good selection in stock in Goldthwaite.

I just have 2 regular 4 wheelers that I keep locked in a shipping container on my land. I don’t live there. They are Hondas.
I recently had a shifting problem on one of them. I took it to 3 different Fort Worth area Honda dealers. None could figure out what was wrong but charged me to mess with it. Then I took it to Mikes Off Road in Fort Worth. Mikes business is mostly 4 wheel drive vehicles. Mike said it sounded like a solenoid. He tested and replaced the solenoid and took it to his land by Weatherford and tested it. No problem and no problems since.
I learned that the dealership guys are mostly make ready and warranty work. None had an experienced diagnostic mechanic.
Without a sense of urgency, nothing ever happens.

Just curious, are those shipping containers sealed enough to keep rats and mice out?

polaris Ranger, full size I have had a mid -size Polaris Ranger 570 for six years and so far, no problems. All I do is change the oil every year. I use it for hunting only, so it's really all I need.

we bought a kubota rtv 1140 in 2009 and it still runs like a tank and climbs a hill, not fast though. We haven't beat it but its seen a lot of years and is still going strong. Last year my wife wanted an upgrade with an enclosed cab for around the ranch and we ended up with a can am defender HD Max (two of my best beds have them and love them). so far its been a treat. Total Cadillac compared to kubota. But the kubota is my bud so i drive it and she drives the can am.

Kawasaki comes with a 36 month warranty from factory, at least the mule does.
I read through many of the comments here but never got a good feel what it was gonna be used for. I bought a used Yamaha Rhino its just gonna be used to fill feeders and keep up with the fence and drag one or two deer in a year. Paid about $5k for it has 250 hours on it. Still has the original tire on it.
