You guys should ask your docs about Meloxicam. It was pretty popular several years ago, but wasn’t there some sort of side effect issue that caused it to be unpopular for use? Still popular but as with any NSAID, kidney damage is a possible issue, but it’s way better for you than high dosage ibuprofen. Meloxicam suppose to be easier on stem cells

This may sound crazy but what helps me sometimes is to wear one of those rubber type medical gloves for a while. Your hand will get sweaty and after I take it off my hand will be very limber and not hurt for a while.

I have it pretty bad in both hands, mainly lower thumbs/hand area. They will swell up. Hard to grip anything a lot of times. Started about a year ago. Flares up bad if i use my hands for anything. Havent figured out what to do about it yet, just suffering.

I started having issues in my right hand middle finger joints (probably from over use). it started about three or four months ago. Very annoying. I use the generic form of Voltaren and take Tylenol. It helps some but not enough. I have kidney issues so Ibuprophen is out for me. This stuff is painful and does weaken the hand. Getting old is not for wussies.
