Scott Huggins bought $12,365.80 worth of deer corn and soybeans delivered to his place in Ft. McKavett, TX. It was delivered Sept 9th and he was supposed to be there with a check. He was not but assured me he would have it mailed that day. So that’s my fault for leaving it. For a couple weeks he answered his phone and gave me a lot of excuses why he couldn’t pay and I told him that was ok and we would work with him. But now he hasn’t answered his phone for a month and when I looked on here I see it’s not the first time he has taken money or not paid money to people. It looks like there have been several post about him over the years. He always seems to have excuses so I guess that’s his pattern of fraud and theft.

He also has a signed Contract for 5 more deliveries just like the first one, which it is now clear he has no intention of honoring. We have already purchased that inventory to cover his contract.

Just hoping to stop anyone else from getting taken advantage of by Scott Huggins or his Company AMR (Adventure Ministries and Retreats)

We are turning it over to lawyers next week.

What is the dirt bag's screen name, if he has one? He's very religious. Find him in church some Sunday morning during the "meet and greet look at me and what a good man of God I am" time and ask him for your $. Tell him you'll be waiting outside for payment. I don't like crooks, I really don't like "religious" crooks.

I had an over the top Pius bible thumper ripped me off on a business deal once so I went to his church, wrote down every license plate in the parking lot, got everyone's name and address and sent them all nice letters with our correspondence along with an explanation of what a POS the man is.

His response was so unhinged that it helped me win in civil court.

I would sue the guy in County Court for the full terms of the contract and then triple that for damages. Make sure you track down assets of his that you can take as payment before you file. I can tell you from first hand experience that there is nothing more satisfying than showing up at a man's house with County constables and a wrecker to tow off his prized 1970 Chevelle 454 and 1970 Trans Am that he foolishly left in his own name

Put it out here. What was his stated reason for conveniently being absent when you showed up with the product, and what were his stated reasons for not paying when he was still answering the phone? He'll be easy to find when he is served papers.

I can’t remember why he couldn’t show up. But he said payment was delayed because one of the people on his leases didn’t pay. The last time we talked he said he had it released and was sending my check. That was a month ago and I called almost daily for 2 weeks.

Checks in the mail. Ive heard that several times in my life.

Just another reason to denigrate the Church as all these things he's allegedly doing in the Lord's name. That's a double whammy.
