It would have to be bigger than anything I've killed already (160 inch plus.) I have 8 shoulder mounts and numerous european mounts. I have two 55 gallon plastic barrels full of antlers from my past 40 years of hunting. I'm cutting off the antlers at the base and saving them like a set of rattling horns now.

I am covered up in taxidermy. All my deer are Euros from now on. I don’t care if it’s a 200 inch deer!

I haven’t mounted any. I have an impala and a bushbuck from South Africa mounted. I’ve taken to making these plaques, but I’ve never come close to a 170 deer. [Linked Image]

It just depends on the deer and the situation, for me.

Example…last year I shot very likely my deer off a lifetime, I haven’t gotten him back from the taxi yet, and said I was likely done with shoulder mounts on whitetail. Fast forward to this opener, I had the opportunity to kill a stag 9 in full velvet…he went to the taxi.

So, who knows when I’m done grin wink
