It took the old women in wise county longer to get you “set up” and get your ID number than it did to actually vote. There were 10 machines, and at any given time there were only 3-4 in use….while 15+ people were in line waiting to have their ID checked.

So I take it not everyone had to create a paper ballot as part of the voting process?

So I take it not everyone had to create a paper ballot as part of the voting process? Our county did. The machine printed your results on a paper you inserted prior to choosing…..then you had to walk over to another maxhine to have it entered. They were older than me….but I’m 41 and not what I’d consider young I guess.

Fourteen machines and no line in Athens yesterday around noon, in and out very quickly.

Voted Monday. No wait, I went right to the check in desk and then straight to the booth.

Took about 10 minutes for my wife and I to vote in Montague County. 3 people ahead of us in line and 4 machines being used.
