It took the old women in wise county longer to get you “set up” and get your ID number than it did to actually vote. There were 10 machines, and at any given time there were only 3-4 in use….while 15+ people were in line waiting to have their ID checked.

Enjoy it while you can kid. When I had longer hair, many more times than once, a cute young girl, washing my hair before I got it cut would say "Your hair is so thick. It's awesome...It reminds me of my dad's." bang

So I take it not everyone had to create a paper ballot as part of the voting process?

Our county did. The machine printed your results on a paper you inserted prior to choosing…..then you had to walk over to another maxhine to have it entered.

They were older than me….but I’m 41 and not what I’d consider young I guess.

Same. The machine at the end simply holds the ballot if its contested. I like the system.

Sweet and simple, no line at all. Took longer to select all of my choices than anything.

I went right to the check in desk and then straight to the booth.

Took about 10 minutes for my wife and I to vote in Montague County. 3 people ahead of us in line and 4 machines being used.
