Took a little longer than usual, mostly due to the paper ballot that's created by the voting machine after you make all your selections. The paper ballot also creates a need for another device that you have to feed your ballot before you leave. The ballot reader designated for the group of voting machines the wife used broke down temporarily and created a fairly long line before it was fixed. I can see longer lines come Election Day given the paper ballot process being added to more selections to make in the voting booth. Still, I like having the paper ballots so that vote totals can be verified more easily and accurately.

I seldom vote early but was glad the wife and I did this time around.

No line for wife and me. In and out 5 minutes. Easy peasy! Go away Beto! Far away!

they should make the ballot so you can mark ALL REPUBLICAN. This would save a ton of time.

Hell no. That's what made it easy for the idiot Democrat voters to put all their fellow idiots in office. Because of their sheer hatred for Donald Trump, they were blindly voting for other candidates they knew absolutely about. It's how Harris County Judge Ed Emmett and several conservative County judicial judges all lost their re-elections, something that I'm sure happened across the state.

Fire station at FM423 and Stonebrook Parkway.

Show ID, they give you a paper print out, color in the boxes (flat tip Sharpie makes quick work) and then scan the form.

No problems here. I voted this morning in Rockwall. I was surprised to see they had drive up voting.

Slower than it should have been, a bank of machines were out. Of course right as I was going to check in those machines came back to life.
