Yea, but a deep dip of the jet stream into south texas is not necessarily indicative of a true Mcfarland Signature which would indicate deep, dense, polar air invading southward. Without MS, you aint ever gonna see those grainfed birds.

If that were the case, we would only have birds about once a decade, since a McFarland Signature is indicative of deep freezing in the Lower Rio Grande Valley that wipes out citrus groves.
