I read recently that St Marks has developed some Ball powders that are as temperature stable as the best extruded powders. Think Staball 6.5 but even better stability... unfortunately not available to public yet just manufacturers.

I think it's a combination of things.

1- I think their powder manufacturing has a limited amount of powder production capacity. They may need to concentrate on existing IMR powders.
2- Established powders. There are some very popular IMR powders that will always be needed/used.
3-I don't think the Enduron powders took off like they wanted. I often found a variety of the IMR Enduron powders on the shelf or available at dealers. I don't think shooters wanted to steer away from their proven "Varget" loads.
4- I think it also cannibalized on Hodgdon existing powders, like H series of extreme Hodgdon powders

8/30 update...the price increases affect mainly the IMR product line with range up to 16%.
Remember that some IMR branded powders are made in Australia @ ADI. Trail Boss, IMR 4227, and 8208 are the ones off the top my head.

Hodgdon has discontinued the following powders moving forward:
IMR4166 / IMR4451 / IMR4955 / IMR7977 / IMR8133

The whole line never seemed to catch on. I only bought IMR 4166 and didn’t like it’s performance in several calibers.

I think they had a fire

I have an unopened pound of 4166 if someone wants to trade. I use about 15 other powders. I am set on Magnum pistol powders though.

Remember just a short few years ago when IMR came out with IMR Target, Red, Green, and Blue powders to copy the old Alliant Dot powders that have been in production for the better part of a hundred years? They really advertised them for a couple of years then wham, all of a sudden production stopped on them. It's hard to figure out powder companies.

I saw a lone jug of 4166 yesterday in a sporting goods store in Cisco of all places.
