what did you use to fasten the roof material to the 2x4's? Does it require special screws, or do you just use regular? They make metal roof fasteners that have a built on washer with an underlayment type material on the bottom of the washer to secure it and not leak Cool, thanks. We were looking to use that type or material on a porch we are going to build and I thought there were special screws for it. I measured and pre drilled the panels where I was going to drop the screws in, I’m figuring it saved me some frustration when getting on top of the roof to drill them in. They make self tappers for the panels but those never seem to like wood. A buddy who has installed tons of these roofs said he always pre drills or at least punches where he’ll be sending down a screw to help guide it Thank you sir!

Posting unsolicited deck pics. I made that joke to the wife one time with this whole ordeal and she’s constantly texting me wanting deck pics while I’m out at the lease 😂🤣 Give Skinner her number. Umn, no.  Married woman, especially a friend's wife is about as far off limits as you can get Sir.
